Account addresses power defaults for rate shopping and labels. Keep them accurate so origins and return-to-sender locations stay correct.

What to store

• Warehouse / studio ship-from locations
• Return docks that can receive carrier returns
• Optional billing address for account records

Steps

1. Open Addresses in your account (Address Book).
2. Add each location with phone and full street data.
3. Set Set default → Ship From for the location you ship from most.
4. Optionally set a default billing address.
5. On individual shipments, override ship-from when a package leaves a different site.

Tips

• Validate unusual addresses before buying postage
• Portal return flows should point at a staffed return address
• Update defaults when you move warehouses — stale ZIPs skew rates
