Label format and printing settings

Label layout is configured once under Printing settings. Wrong format + fit-to-page is the usual cause of unscannable barcodes.

Set the label format

1. Open Settings → Printing.
2. Open the Labels subtab.
3. Under Label layout, set Label format.
4. Common choices:
   • 4 × 6 in PDF — thermal label printers
   • 8.5 × 11 in PDF (one label per page) — office printers
   • Other sizes listed in the dropdown (including narrower formats when shown)
5. Adjust Print order / Text on label only if you need those options.
6. Save.

Print a label

1. From Orders, select Download Label.
2. In the print dialog, choose 100% / actual size (disable fit-to-page).
3. Select the matching paper size for your printer.
4. Confirm the barcode is sharp and fully on the stock.
