One-off Get Label vs order labels

Get Label is for ad-hoc shipments. Store order labels are for WooCommerce and eBay fulfills. Using the wrong path is the most common reason tracking never appears on the sales channel.

Quick rule

Goal Use
Ship a Woo or eBay order Place Order from the imported order on Orders

Order labels

  1. Sync the store so the order is Incomplete.
  2. Open the order → get rates → buy.
  3. Nitromule can push tracking, carrier, and service back to the channel.

If you instead open Get Label and type the buyer address by hand, you create an unrelated shipment. The store order stays awaiting shipment.

One-off Get Label

Use when:

  • Wholesale / phone / email orders not in a connected store
  • Shipping supplies to yourself
  • Testing rates and printers

No marketplace notify runs unless you manually update the channel.

How to recover from a mistake

  1. If the one-off label is unused, void it.
  2. Open the real imported order and buy the correct label there.
  3. If the one-off label already moved, update tracking on the channel manually and avoid double postage when possible.
