Troubleshoot printing shipping labels

Most print failures are scale or paper mismatch. Download the same PDF again — do not Place Order a second time for a copy.

Symptom

• Barcode too small, clipped, or unscannable
• Huge margins or multi-page waste
• Thermal printer blank or shifted output

Fix

1. In Orders, select the shipment and Download Label.
2. Print at 100% / actual size (disable fit-to-page and shrink-to-fit).
3. Confirm Settings → Printing → Labels → Label format matches the printer (4 × 6 in PDF vs 8.5 × 11 in PDF).
4. In the OS dialog, pick the correct printer and paper size.
5. Print the PDF file — do not screenshot the on-screen preview.
6. Clean the thermal head if barcodes smear.

Try an 8.5 × 11 PDF on an office printer to isolate thermal driver issues, then update drivers. See Label format settings.
