Import orders from CSV for any store

On this page
CSV import creates shippable orders in Nitromule from a spreadsheet. Use it when you do not have a live WooCommerce or eBay connection (or as a backup).
When to use CSV
- Channels without a Nitromule connector yet
- Wholesale / phone orders
- One-time migrations or backlog clears
Prefer live WooCommerce or eBay sync so tracking can push back automatically.
Steps
- Open Orders → CSV import (or Stores → CSV).
- Download the Nitromule CSV template.
- Fill required columns: recipient name, street, city, state, ZIP, country, weight, dimensions (and order number if you have one).
- Save as CSV (UTF-8).
- Upload and map columns if prompted.
- Fix row errors (missing ZIP, bad weight) until the import succeeds.
- Find new rows in Incomplete.
- Get rates and Create Label from those orders.
Tips
- Validate a 3-row sample before a large file
- Include apartment/suite in address lines
- Do not re-import the same order numbers repeatedly — you will create duplicates
- After labeling, update the sales channel manually if it is not connected
